Physical Education Teacher at Sticklinge School

Sticklinge School is an F–6 school with approximately 400 students. We are located in a scenic and quiet area of Lidingö. We also have after-school care and youth activities for children and young people aged 6 to 16. The school's management consists of a principal and an assistant principal, who together drive a close and engaged pedagogical leadership.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a physical education teacher at Sticklinge School, you will be responsible for planning, teaching, evaluating, and assessing in physical education and health. Teaching takes place in our new beautiful gymnasium where you will teach students in grades F-6. You will be part of a team where you collaborate with colleagues, which is an important part of collegial learning to create new and deepened knowledge. As a physical education teacher with us, you will play a central role in shaping and developing the school's physical education together with a colleague.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is qualified and certified as a teacher in physical education and health. You are well acquainted with current governing documents and are independent and engaged in the work with students' development to achieve the school's goals. You put the student at the center and have a positive view of students as well as a good ability to develop and plan teaching in collaboration with colleagues. You value and create good conditions for collaboration and establish good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. If you have qualifications in additional subjects, it can be an advantage.

Furthermore, you are clear, responsible, stable, self-aware, and a clear leader in the classroom. We place great importance on your personal competencies and work based on the values of being engaged, professional, and proactive. We expect you to contribute with a great deal of commitment, a professional approach, and to take the initiative to continuously develop yourself and the organization.

OTHER

The city applies individual salary setting. The position is 50% with a start date of March 2, 2026, until June 18, 2026.
